Since Russia’s escalation in its war against Ukraine, I have been on Canadian radio and television frequently, including on CBC radio, CTV News, and the Global News radio network. My commentary has also been included on NBC News, Kyiv Independent, and Yahoo News, along with other independent news sources. I have written several opinion pieces for The Conversation, Toronto Star, and The Moscow Times. I have also spoken on several podcasts related to Soviet history or the Russo-Ukrainian War, and have given multiple talks at universities, both in-person and virtually, on the impact of the Russo-Ukrainian War on Russian studies, Soviet and Russian history, Soviet relations with the Global South, and on the historical inspirations and parallels of Russian atrocities in Ukraine.

I am available to speak on topics related to the Russo-Ukrainian War, the influence of Soviet and Russian history on present day Russian politics and diplomacy, and the historical parallels of Russian atrocities in Ukraine today. I also am happy to speak on these topics in an academic setting.
